Introduction

The walk to Easedale Tarn is simply stunning.  As a low level fell, the route is easily accessible with plenty of stops along the way to ensure you enjoy the beauty of this Lakeland jewel.

The route to the tarn runs alongside the awe-inspiring waterfalls of Sour Milk Gill offering fantastic photo opportunities alongside one of the Lake Districts favourite beauty spots and a place close to my families heart.

The Route

Starting from Grasmere village the route climbs steadily to the banks of Easedale Tarn and offers multiple distances dependent upon walking abilities and time...

A shorter descent via the same paths climbed, a medium descent running parallel or a longer route taking in a loop of the tarn itself. Easedale Tarn is a wonderful Lakeland fell and one that will leave you wanting more...
